WoW The Burning Crusade Tales - Hellfire Peninsula Zone Guide

 

Zone map (including flypoints and flypaths)and locations of NPCs in Temple of Telhamar and Honor Hold - quite handy for those new into Hellfire Peninsula.

Hellfire Peninsula is "starting zone" in Outland planet. You will be thrown into brand new world through Dark Portal (from Blasted Land, pick up the introductory quest there) and after delivering your first quest, you will be sent to Flypoint at DarkPortal and offered trip to Honor Hold. Honor Hold (HH, Alliance) or Thrallmar (TH, Horde) is quest hub for Hellfire Peninsula - some trainers and vendors are there, so do not hesitate and look around.

The other quest Hub is Temple of Telhamat (Alliance, Draenei) and Falcon Watch (Horde, Blood Elves) where is also second flypoint (don't forget to pick it up, or you will have trouble flying from other zones).

I have marked spots for Alliance (NPCs, either Ally or neutral) on map as well as way how to reach Shatter Point - get to Force Camp Front and ask NPC to let you go to Shatter Point. There is one more "weird" Flypoint near The Legion Front, which is only part of some quest line - it cannot be used regularly.

  • Burko (Medic) - over 300 in First Aid and two new books (Netherweave Bandages)
  • Vodesiin (Reagent Vendor)  - Formula: Runed Adamanite Rod
  • Talaara (Weapon Merchant) - repair
  • Caregiver Ophera Windfury (Innkeeper)

Honor Hold

  • Brumman (Grand Master Leatherworker) at left side of Inn (outside)
  • Edward the Temporary (Alpha Gem Vendor) inside Inn - obviously only available in Beta/Alpha !
  • Tatiana (Grand Master Jewelcrafter) inside Inn
  • Jelena Nightsky (Skinning trainer) - skinning over 300 - inside Inn
  • Sid Limbardi (Innkeeper) - cooking recipes (Ravager Dog)
  • Gaston (Chef) - sells Master Cookbok (cooking over 300) - inside Inn
  • Hama (Grand Master Tailor) - tailoring over 300 and loads of recipes - inside Inn, first floor
  • Magus Zabraxis (Reagent Vendor) - tower
  • Alchemist Gribble (Grand Master Alchemist) - alchemy over 300 and loads of recipes - tower
  • Rorelein (Herbalism Trainer) - Herbalism over 300 - tower
  • Johan Barnes (Grand Master Enchanter) - Enchanting over 300 and recipes - tower, first floor
  • Humpry (Grand Master Blacksmith) - BlackSmithing over 300 and recipes - BlackSmith building
  • Hurnak Grimmord (Mining Trainer) - Mining over 300 and new smelting skills - Blacksmith building
  • Logistics Officer Ulrike (Honor Hold Quartermaster) - Formulas, recipes, plans, weapons, armor and other items - availability based on Honor Hold reputation - close to Blacksmith building
  • Warrant Officer Tracy Proudwell - various interesting items ("Marks" - socket items, rings, Honor Hold Favor
